Campus Native uses personal information to run safe, personalized campus tours, verify guides, process payments, and support users.

This policy explains how Campus Native collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you use our website and services. It is intended for prospective students, families, guides, and other users of the marketplace.
This page is not legal advice. It should be reviewed by counsel before broad public launch, especially because guide verification may involve identity documents handled by a third-party verification provider.
Information we collect
Account details such as your name, email address, role, adult self-attestation, and profile information you choose to provide.
Guide profile details including school, major, academic year, bio, interests, listings, availability, and verification status.
Booking details including selected tour, scheduled time, party size, notes, prices, service fees, booking status, and related messages or support requests.
Identity verification
Guides may be asked to verify their identity using a government photo ID and selfie/liveness check before publishing tours.
Identity verification is handled by Didit. Campus Native receives verification status and session identifiers; we do not intentionally store copies of your government ID images in our own database.
Didit may process information needed to verify your identity according to its own privacy and security practices.
Payments and payouts
Payments, card authorization, service fees, and guide payouts are handled by Stripe.
Campus Native stores payment-related identifiers and status information needed to manage bookings, refunds, payouts, fraud prevention, and support. We do not store full card numbers.
How we use information
We use information to operate the marketplace, verify guides, process bookings and payments, provide support, prevent abuse, improve safety, send transactional emails, and comply with legal obligations.
We may use aggregated or de-identified information to understand marketplace activity and improve the product.
Sharing and retention
We share information with service providers that help run Campus Native, including Supabase for authentication and database hosting, Didit for identity verification, Stripe for payments, Resend for email, and Vercel for hosting.
We keep information for as long as needed to operate the service, resolve disputes, maintain safety records, comply with law, and enforce our agreements.
Your choices
You can update many account and guide-profile details from the app. You may contact us to request access, correction, deletion, or help with account privacy questions.
Some information may need to be retained for legal, safety, payment, fraud-prevention, or dispute-resolution reasons.
